I have travelled to Kansas City on a number of occasions recently. An opportunity arose to capture an engagement session in Kansas City this past October, so I headed out there once again. The couple is getting married at Boulevard Brewing so we made sure to incorporate some images from that location during the engagement session.
There are beautiful views overlooking Kansas City from Liberty Memorial. We headed over there to finish the engagement session as the sun began to set. The lighting was perfect and the setting was extremely picturesque.
There is always an added thrill of photographing in a new location. Having photographed in Portland and Washington for over 10 years, the opportunity to travel for work is always met with excitement. Destination weddings have brought us all across the United States and the rare occasion to capture a destination engagement session comes up from time to time as well. It is these types of shoots that I treasure the most. Here are some of our favorite highlights from a Kansas City engagement session captured just a few months ago.
